2nd and Charles New comicbook sushi lists

Comics at 2nd and Charles are getting better organized, and better selection.

2nd and Charles is a big store with chains across the country.  They buy and sell books, records, toys, and comicbooks.

They have now started selling new comics.

They started with a very small shelf

They are now up to a medium sized shelf

I really like to go there because occasionally I find some great old comics at a great price.  They occasionally offer amazing deals like buy 5 comics get 1 free etc.  Some of the stuff I have found there is just amazing I found maybe 20-30 very old Amazing Spidermans, the entire set of the old Guardians of the Galaxy, and a whole bunch of old Avengers comics.  The one problem with comics at 2nd and Charles has always been selection and the lack of new comics.  I am happy to report that they are in the process of upping their comic book game.  They are now selling a set of new comics on a shelf in the comic section.  The selection in my local store is pretty limited right now but they also have a cool system to allow you to order new comics through the stores.

They have comic book "Sushi Lists" where you can check a box for the title you want.  If the comic you want is not on the list, you can write it on the back of the sheet.  It is a fun concept, keeping up with their hipstery image.  You give the list to the 2nd and Charles resident comic book guru and he will order those titles for you.  You can stop by each Wednesday and pick up your stash.  It really is a great way to stay on top of your favorite titles.
