Toylab Take:
There is something about naming the show "Gifted" that makes me think Low Key comic show.   By not highlighting any of the characters names, no costumes, its a queit comic book movie.  It reminds of the 90s when comic book films were still dorky.  This is only hieghtened by the fact of its attachment to Bryan "No Costumes Ever" Singer.  That said it says something when film power houses like Singer take the time to work on a TV show.   The show looks like it could be good and they have added in a few comic characters like Polaris which will get me to tune in.  Fans of the old X-Men the Animated Series often talk about how much they love Jubilee's introduction during the first episode and the Gifted looks like an expanded version of that story.

The Morlocks, Polaris, and Sage are all cool characters who may have never gotten the star treatment in the film universe this show give those characters room to shine.  I have hope for this.
