What is the First Order in Star Wars?
What is the First Order in Star Wars
The First Order is a group in the Star Wars universe that will make its film debut in Star Wars the Force Awakens.
The First Order is an organization formed from the remnants of the Galactic Empire after the Battle of Endor. The Empire was dealt a powerful blow of at the Battle of Endor with destruction of the Death Star and the death of Emperor Palpatine. However, various groups and assets of the empire survived and were pulled back together under the frame work of the First Order. The group base of operations was called the Starkiller base.
The First Order is thought to have lasted around 30 years after the fall of the Galactic Empire. One of the initial leaders of the group was General Hux.
The (dark jedi) character Kylo Ren has been identified working with First Order storm troopers.
The character of Captain Phasma also appears to be a high ranking member of the organization.
It is possible that enigmatic Supreme Leader Snoke is the leader of the First Order or behind its rise.
Like the Empire before it the First Empire employed Storm Troopers, Tie Fighters, and Star Destroyers. Different versions of the Storm Trooper that have been identified are flametroopers, and snow troopers.
The character of Finn is seen wearing the garb of a First Order stormtrooper on desert planet of Jakku. He is drenched in sweat and running, he could either be a rebel spy who infiltrated the First Order or a defector.
