Summary:
Acting as Peter Parker Otto manages to fake his own death and get Carlie into his lab.  Before he can cure her the Goblin contacts Spider-Man and he leaves Sanjay to cure Carlie.
The Green Goblin lets Otto know that he is blowing up every place that has ever been important to Otto.  Effectively, erasing every accomplishment he has ever had. Then reveals that he has someone important to Otto kidnapped at the university.
Otto rushes in expecting to find Anna Maria but instead finds that the Goblin kidnapped a surprise target.

Otto pulls out his mechanical Spider arms only to find out that they too are under the control of the Goblin.  It takes a heroic sacrifice by a surprise party for Spider-Man to stay alive.  Why did the Goblin not finish him off here?  Apparently, the Goblin has a larger drawn out plan that simply killing him.

Meanwhile, Jonah Jameson has launched a fleet Spider Slayers.  However, Spider-Man is saved by a guest from the future!  The only problem for all those involved is that the Goblin once again remains far ahead of everyone.

In Otto's mind Peter now is reliving the Octopuses battles with Spider-Man and seeing how much Otto hated Spider-Man for thwarting all of his plans.  In Otto's mind Spider-Man is a super powered school yard bully preventing him from realizing his greatness.

 Review:
A lot happens in this book and it keeps a fast and interesting pace.  Many of the threads over the series are starting to close.  The action and drama are both fairly strong and the art is solid.  Overall a descent book.  I am beginning to get Goblin fatigue however.  The Goblin seemed ready to end things and I was ready for it.  None-the-less I feel the build up is driving toward an epic conclusion in Superior Spider-Man #30.
